Hi-tech crime is the illegal exploitation of computer technologies like the Internet, whether to attack the new technology itself or in order to support so-called ‘old’ crimes such as fraud, identity theft and embezzlement.

It can have a potentially serious impact and therefore it’s essential that Welsh businesses are fully aware of the threats and how they can protect themselves by taking the appropriate security measures - allowing them to continue to grow and increase profits.

Together we aim to:

  • Combat Serious and Organised Hi-Tech Crime, making Wales a safe place to live and work.
  • Advise and inform on current risk and solutions.
  • Develop these solutions, throughout Wales by close partnership between Business, Law Enforcement and Government.
